Kathleen Irene Paterka is an Amazon bestselling author of Women’s Fiction. Her novels embrace universal themes of home and family relationships, of courage and faith, and love. Before graduating from college with a degree in Sociology, Kathleen lived and studied in Europe. Kathleen is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association.
Her popular series, The James Bay novels, are set in Northern Michigan. The fictional town of James Bay plays home to five stand-alone titles: Fatty Patty, Home Fires, Lotto Lucy, For I Have Sinned, and Deep Fried Reservations.
Kathleen’s women’s fiction releases include The Other Wife and Royal Secrets. Kathleen is currently working on a new women’s fiction novel full of secrets and scandals set in Chicago.
In addition to her fiction novels, Kathleen was the resident staff writer at a world renowned castle listed on the National Historic Register, and co-authored the book For The Love of a Castle. Her non-fiction works have been published in trade journals.
Kathleen and her husband Steve live in the beautiful north country of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. When not pursuing her career as a writer, Kathleen can be found indulging in her favorite pastime: curled up with a good book.
